SINGING TO THE HEART is an epic journey that travels from Adelaide in South Australia to the heart of Australia in Alice Springs.
Designed for choirs and singers, the program uses music to create the soundtrack of the journey. We sing as we travel, into remote Aboriginal communities and into the iconic Uluru.
Under the guidance of a choir director, our repertoire is developed over the first five days in the beautiful remote township of Quorn. Each day is a delight of singing, becoming part of the community and then finally performing in a free concert.
The journey then travels into Coober Pedy, the opal capital of Australia where we perform in a stunning underground church.
Next stop is the famous Uluru, where we glamp for 4 nights. We visit and sing with Aboriginal communities, around the fire at night, and as the sun sets over the world-famous rock.
The last destination is Alice Springs, visiting the magnificent Hermannsburg and Macdonell Ranges, sharing music with the Arrernte people of incredible country.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
The Story Hunters is a moderately active program with some walking required in Varanasi and Jaisalmer.
Apart form that, some conversations with different Indian people need guidance from participants to avoid culturally inappropriate questions. As a general rule, questions will be asked at the conclusion of sessions and at the discretion of the facilitator.
